Long story short, I am attending a wedding this weekend and the suit I have had for quite some time is just worn out and no good.

My job is casual dress and doesn't require me wearing a suit...so I don't stress over not having one until I actually need one.

Where can I buy a decent suit in Tampa for a value price? I know if you wear a suit daily you are going to have differing opinions and that "every man should have 1 really nice suit in his closet". I want to look sharp but I don't want to spend $400-1000 bucks for this event or the 2-3 times I may actually need it each year. I'd honestly like to spend $150 or less, if that is even possible.

I have looked at Joseph A Bank & Men's Wearhouse because they usually have deals going on, but I didn't find anything online in my price range.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Not sure on the cheap, however you can try places like JC Penney, Sears, maybe Burlington Coat, Men's Warehouse...
Some department type stores may have them, not sure if places like K-Mart, Wal-Mart, and such would have them or not...

Have you thought about renting from a tuxedo rental place? They rent suits of all types and will give you a good fit. Probably your cheapest, one time use option and you will look sharp... Give a tux rental place a call...

I just called a frugal friend and she said that she gets her hubby's suit from the clearance racks at Kohl's (the one on the Causeway...) I have no clue, where or what they have, I just called and asked her and that was what she said...

OK, I just looked it up.

No problem. If not, think about renting one...

I would consider renting something out for one event or just spend more than $150 and buy a good suit you can use in the future. As for rental place, I suggest you check out Bib 'N Tux - their prices are very reasonable (around $80), my husband used them few times already. They are on Fowler anear University mall.

flea market or salvation army. You can pick one up for a few bucks. Might have a hole or two in it, but it's cheap.

If you can muster up a couple of hundred bucks, you can get a pretty nice one at sears. That's what I did last year.
