We are deep in the pit of a reverse west wind flow, been 9 days since i had a drop of rain and i don't see a chance for another drop for a good 6 more days in my area. When i walk out in the morning i just wanna roll over and die.

Mosquitoes like this stuff - afternoon showers, stagnant water - noticed they were out in full force yesterday while on the golf course.

2 huge storms in the Daytona area. The latter had tremendous lightning, it was crazy! Love it!

Never see one in my hood. It's so dry all the time they can't even lay eggs. Nothing moves, no wildlife at all minus dillo's that dig under my house.

You can thank the reverse west wind flow as that brings you the heavy rain while we get nothing on the west coast.

Excellent. Now that our dew points and temps have risen, we have been having pop-up storms in the area almost every single day over here on the west coast as well. The nature of pop-ups is some get hit and others don't, but it has been great to see them all around. Quite a change from just a few weeks ago when they simply were not there. I'm a happy camper.
