You know, that is true. I used to have a bigscreen on a solid surface floor back in the late 90's, and it does affect the sound quality vs. ones on carpeted surfaces when I moved later on. Much better sound

Funny story: I went to Target and found a GREAT deal on my Vizio (say what you will, I love it!). The guy tells me it's 32" and he'll give me $20 off because it's the floor model. I buy it, take it home, and it's MUCH bigger than my 19" TV. I was playing with the remote a few weeks later and turn it over... This broski sold me a 42" TV for the price of a 32".

why not donate the old one to an orphanage or someplace like that... in the closet it will just go bad,,, go do something nice..

My son is getting it when he gets his apartment, after he moves down. It will hold him for a while.
