I see at the top of our page, they listed the winners of the Most Informative Poster Award. I believe that is across all of City Data.

So, just speaking locally, who is your favorite poster for providing the most informative posts? Who have you learned the most from? It can be someone who lives here or not, but contributes to this forum.

There are a lot of posters here who I think do a fantastic job, but the two who stick out the most to me are FloridaKash and Sunnydee. Always providing quality input and I have learned a lot. I always look forward to what they will be posting.

Let's try to get our members in the winner's circle next time around.

I wish I kept track more. I have learned SO much about the area between the threads I've started wanting input and simply reading. But there are alot of helpful people on here who add value. Sorry I can't think of one in particular.

I have had a lot of help, especially this past spring when I was seeking advice on where to move. While it is difficult to decide who was the most helpful when I look across all the Tampa Bay forums, I do want to thank Kmarc who stood out in my thread.

Obviously... I am the most informative poster. Duh.

I have provided information on the most affordable way to move to the state.

I have experience renting and owning. Rented in Pinellas, owned in Hillsborough.

I have kids so I know where to find school information.. because I did all this research myself.
While buying my house I posted where to find tax info, flood info, insurance info, crime info, on and on.

I always tell people to rent before buy.

I have provided a real life account of the the job market down here.

I have commuted with job from Pinellas to Hillsborough. Seminole to Rocky Point. Carrollwood to Rocky Point, Carrollwood to Brandon and now Carrollwood to Westshore. All commutes required taking different highways.
Basically making me a commuting expert in these areas.

We travel around the state more than most so I can provide information on that as well. Additionally... it amazes me how many people do not know we have a Drive-In Theater in Tampa.

Been on several cruise while living here.

Go to Orlando often.. have had season passes to everywhere but Disney and LegoLand.

Basically.... I am new enough to where I know what it is like to move here in this day and age. But been here long enough and have done so many things I can speak to what it really is like to live here. I am from Alaska so I understand wanting to escape cold winters. I have lived here long enough to know that although I used to LOVE summers here... I no longer LOVE them. I tolerate them because I have fallen in love with Spring and Fall here. With that said, I will still take Summers here over cold winters anytime.

I vote for CHASL2. That guy knows his weather - very accurate. Karen the real estate agent is the best poster here, imo. R Morton, too. Bentlebee, too.

I would also nominate Chasl2. He taught me about the reverse west wind flow and always gives sound weather advice to the new folks.

posting thread after thread about the greatness of Florida heat doesn't qualify one to be an informative poster, btw.
