Gotta love the "mature" Bucs fans!

Default Who says there are no basements on Florida. The Bucs are in one!

For anyone wondering where the Bucs are in the standings, here are the updated standings. Just make sure you look at the bottom of the list, not the top.

I came into this thread to post about how great of a time I had today, and except for a few morons, how pleasantly surprised I was regarding the reception Eagles fans were given today at the game. Despite the fact I was wearing a #20 Brian Dawkins Eagles jersey, pretty much everyone I came across today was polite, friendly, etc.

I'm thinking there was probably 50-50% Eagles to Bucs. That was nearly as many opponent fans as I've ever seen as a STH since 2009 - maybe Pittsburgh brought more - or Dallas. Do these people all come down from Phillly? Or are they all transplants? Only one Eagle fan who felt a need to stand up all game long and block the view of everyone behind him was obnoxious, otherwise, they were decent and not smelly.

They are transplants. I actually asked a few Eagle fans and they said most of them cheer for the Bucs when the Eagles aren't in town.

Kind of like Red Sox, Yankee, Phillies fans in baseball. I knew it.

That would make sense. Many people still follow their hometown teams, while adopting their new town's team. Double the pleasure. That way no matter what team wins when they play each other, it feels good.

I think it's a mix. There is an Eagles fan group called the Green Legion. They travel to all of the Eagles away games. I am told they had a group of 250 plus that came down. I was tailgating from 10AM in one of the lots at the Yankees spring training complex. I talked to alot of Eagles fans and some of them lived here like I do, and others made the trip for the game. It's only a two hour flight from Philly, so it's not a big deal to make a weekend out of it. I had family come down, they are flying back today.
