Anyone could do a mistake or misjudge there obilities for some reasons. Nobody should drive after alcohol, NOBODY, but it's life... I don't understand why this judge should be punished harder than other people...

She was nearly three times the legal limit. We're not talking about the proverbial "two beers" here. To get to that level of intoxication means that she did a lot of drinking and then made the conscious decision to drive. Considering that the average drink raises a blood alcohol level by 0.015-0.02, that means that she had a minimum of between 8 and 11 drinks, and that doesn't even account for metabolization of alcohol over time. Just because "it's life" doesn't make it right.

She shouldn't be given a harsher sentence due to her being a judge, but she should face career repercussions. Of all people in this society, those who enforce, make, and interpret our laws need to be expected to follow the law. If they don't, then they have no business in those fields. It's that simple.

OCCIFER- some in here will side with dead wrong until it affects their life some how, so no use making them understand,,, deaf ears...probabaly because partakes of the same lifestyle. I had to be in jury once with almost the same incident, and the lady was a nurse, it took a long while to convince the jury to see that this lady could be high as a kite taking care of one of their kids in the ER! they finally agreed on a conviction so she could be sent to rehab, but it was a uphill battle- Being high or drunk is AOK with our society. Wait till they approve weed...

The majority here disagrees with you yet you insist that they are dead wrong. Great, you found someone that agrees with you, that does not mean you are right.
The case you speak of, what was the name of the defendant and in what county was this in?

you are kidding me right? that was in Broward county and who knows what her name was -it was over 15 years ago and to be honest, I don't remember-but it did happen. and why should I give you proof? Go ahead, just because the majority agrees still will not make it right, history should show you that---
I will continue to teach my kids and grands honesty, integrity and doing the right thing and being responsible for their actions. do as you will. it's a free country.
