I am wrapping up writing my master's thesis and would like to include a picture of one of the big gypsum stacks from the phosphate mining. I am wondering where the best place to take a picture of them would be. It seems like I remember having a good view of them from Ballast Point Park but I think you can also see them from the east on I75. Any suggestions? I don't have a lot of time left so I don't want to spend a lot of time driving around. I want to be far enough away that I can get the whole thing in the frame, I have a fairly good telephoto lens too.

this is what one looks like in case you were wondering:

aren't you allowed to use a picture already taken - with appropriate credit or payment if it is licensed?

BTW, congrats on getting near the finish line on your Master's - big life accomplishment.

Be careful...if your report is damaging to the company or the industry, you may be in violation of privacy laws. Florida passed a law that says it's unlawful to photograph Farms and farming operations without permission. You will need a photo release to take these photos.

Highway 41 (50th Street) south towards Mosaic Riverview. Closest to a main highway.

Thanks for the tips, maybe I'll just pass on the photograph. I only mention them in passing while talking about environmental degradation in the area. There are surprisingly few good pictures of them on google. I'll post a link to my thesis once it is finished and published; it is on Hillsborough County so some of you may be interested.
