Not me. The last thing I need in summer (at least in Florida) is more sunshine. If we must have DST, it makes more sense to me to have it during the winter months, where the daylight hours are actually less.

To each their own, but I love the short days and long nights during the winter. I'm seeing Orion in the morning sky, so it won't be too much longer before we see some decent weather.

I agree with you, I enjoy the shorter days. I always thought they had it backwards, we actually would need the DST in the WINTER when days are already shorter, not in summer when they are ridiculously long.

Anyway, hooray for seeing Orion and getting nicer weather!

Excellent! I can't get up this week! I am up, but I am not really up! I want to be up, but my eyes are closing...I HATE this daylight saving! I am not sure what am I saving here really? IF Arizona can live without it, so can we. (Arizona is in America too for those who might wonder).

I like the sun being up later... like it is right now. Leave it this way.

That's debatable.

The current DST in summer should be kept all year in Florida.

The main reason is tourism, the extra hour at night gives people a chance to enjoy the sunset at dinner or even after.

Just think how much more beach activity and business there would be with an extra hour of daylight.

For locals, this is a benefit too. I hate getting home from work as the sun is setting. It would be nice to enjoy the day a little while instead of the extra hour in the morning that is of no good use. Schools could shift there time to match the daylight too, they all get out of school way to early now anyways.
