A part of the NEW mall close to I-75 opened last week.
This is great new for the home owners and businesses located in Wesley Chapel. This brings more traffic, but right now they are building and widening exiciting roads. So for a lot of people it will create new jobs.
Anybody seen the new mall, any good bargains?

Just FYI, the mall did not open last weekend....part of the shopping center (maybe it's being called a mall?? it's an outdoor strip of big stores) off of I-75 and SR54 did. There is a Babies R Us, Dick's Sporting Goods, some other stuff...basic boring commercial shopping, same as anywhere else...

The mall they are building will be on I-75 and 56.

Can you enlighten me as to what "exciting roads" they are widening?

existing, sorry my mistake. You can call it "basic boring" but if you need to buy things at stores like this it is great you don't have to drive to Brandon if you live in Wesley Chapel.

I have a nice house for rent in Land O' Lakes Good to know about these new shopping centers coming about as my current tenants are moving out at the end of this month. I have not been in the area since 2003. I miss Home! "boy the sun would be nice to see again".... I live in Portland Or. Where it always rains! Wow it's raining now! What is the current rent going on a 3/2 nice house near Tampa? and what is the job market looking like? Hopefully not as dreadful as the housing and credit markets are having.

Default Wesley Chapel Mall Sprawl

The strip mall has Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Dick's Sporting Goods, Toys R Us (University store closing) and Babies R Us. And, I expect they will have yet another mattress store (don't we have enough already?!?!)

Here's a link to a SP Times article about the one above opening at the Groves and a little about the two other malls coming to the area (Cypress Creek & Wiregrass --> Northoftampa: New store just in time for shopping season

I just heard on the radio that Pet Smart is opening this weekend.
I have a house for rent too and soon available. I'm asking $ 1,350.- for a 2083 sqft. in Seven Oaks. 4/2/2.

The traffic is to the mall is not very easy because the are widening the road.
With all these new business opening soon, this must be good for new jobs.
The other huge mall will open 2008 and is on State Road 56 close to I-75 and the mall at JC penney on the Bruce B. down and State Road 56 will also open in 2008. This all must be good for the area. Specially with the todays gas prices, I rather stay here and not drive all the time to Brandon or Tampa.

I just heard you guys are getting a Macy*s in Wesley Chapel, I believe in the same Wiregrass Shops where JC Penny and soon Dillard's is. CONGRATS! You guys will have it ALL up there in Wesley Chapel/Eastern Pasco County.

If it's good for the economy we will take it. The value of our houses will go up, more jobs, etc.
