I've been looking at foreclosures in the Tampa area. We'd like a getaway and it's close to UT where one of my kids attend.

We found an inexpensive and modest little ranch online that looks as though it would suit our needs. The price is very low, which kind of set off red flags that is could be in an undesirable neighborhood.

It's located on North Mark St Tampa 33604.

Any information would be appreciated.

I wouldn't live in that part of town. Would be concerned about my personal safety.

I agree, for certain people, the benefits of an urban environment can outweigh the suburbs. Just watch Gran Torino. Some people like that kind of a place. You can walk down the street for a variety of entertainment options at people's houses. I bet the people there are real friendly.

It's nice if you don't like nice areas.

It all depends on what you are used to. I personally wouldn't live there, but then again I like an area that is more suburban and has wildlife then the urban area. To me, it's a rough area. Then again for someone that grew up in that area it would be fine.
