Its not that I was taking notes or pictures. The reason I mentioned it is that one of our fellow posters here was harangued by some for the report that they drove with their auto windows open. I simply noticed that it is a common practice. Congrats on your long standing safe driver record. Keep up the good work.

I wouldn't say it's a common practice. I see a lot of old beaters with the windows down because, more than likely, the ac is broken. I also see people smoking with their windows down. Most people keep their windows up and air on in the summer if they have a choice.

Oh I am one of them-- I hate AC, so if don't need it- don't use it- prefer fresh air, and I do not smoke or wear wife beaters, lol. All depends on time of day and humidity. Most morning windows down, late evening-same.

It is obviously a common practice, however, I would agree that MOST do keep windows up and a/c on.

I was referring to the car, not the driver.
