Key West hands down is my winner!
You have to see a sunset there in person to understand it.

If the shot posted is the one that made it win, that's a tad unfair because it's taken from one of the hotels, or condo's there...at the beach level it's not the best; it's ridden with photographers daily, it's crowded, and there are a ton of homeless folks around too looking for people to pick pocket. I have another place which shall remain unnamed that is best here.

I'd have to say Key West gets my vote too. BF and I watched the gorgeous sunset from the rooftop bar of La Concha Hotel.

Best place for a sunset could simply mean a beach bar with good beer and music. But the true sunset connoisseur knows the best sunsets take place in extremely low humidity. You get the full spectrum of light, with dramatic shadows appearing purple. The cloudy sunsets of the Gulf usually have a milky white look to them, not like the razor sharp ones in AZ, when the sun looks like a ball of fire going down.
