I have been tasked with setting up my buddys bachelor party. So far the consensus is that we will go to Gasparilla on Jan. 25th. Where is a good place for the 6 of us to stay? I would like to find a place with a kitchenette and multiple rooms, and if not, a cool hotel with adjoining rooms. I also need help with what to do at night, ie bars or clubs. I think we will definitely hit Mons, but any other strip bar locations would be great! I am from Jacksonville, FL, so I am not familiar with Tampa at all. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you!

A Bach Party? Sounds awesome!! You'll definitely want to check out the Florida Orchestra, although I'm not sure they have Bach on their calendar for that week in January. Will any Baroque-era composer do? If you're willing to extend your search a bit to other composers, you might get lucky with the Florida Orchestra or another touring group at one of the major concert halls like the Straz Center.

Since you are looking for bars or clubs, one thing you might consider is looking for a wig store to get 17th-18th century powder wigs. Not sure where you'll track down eveningwear for your group from that era, maybe a costume shop closer to Orlando?

I think you misspelled "string bar locations", but unfortunately I don't think the Tampa Bay area is large enough to support its own violin and string section music bar. You might consider hiring a string quartet to accompany you to a normal bar since we don't have string bars here. Bonus points if you get 17th century eveningwear and powder wigs for the string quartet, I'm sure they'll appreciate that!!

Welcome to Tampa to you and your friends. I do say, it's refreshing to meet young people that are so supportive of the arts and especially baroque-era music. Good luck to you all, or as Bach may have said in his time, "Salutations and luck to you and your fellows"!

It might be fun to stay at the Hard Rock, they have a casino that could keep you entertained. Thee Dollhouse is another of Tampa's famous strip clubs that is supposed to have high end strippers.

I wasn't sure about it being open or closed. I haven't been there in a long, long, time. But would think it to be a good venue if open.

I'm not sure why someone listed a location about 90 miles away from Tampa as a place to take a cab to.

The Hard Rock also might be fun for a few hours, but you are a $75 round trip cab ride from anywhere.

Something downtown that weekend is ideal, because every hotel has festivities along with the parade: Westin, Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton, or the Embassy Suites (with kitchenettes).

I would not delay on your reservations. The Embassy is probably already sold out for that weekend, since many of the Krewes stay there.

ONLY GO TO MONS VENUS! TRUST ME, IT IS THE BEST STRIP CLUB IN THE USA.

The strip club across the street, 2001 Oddysee, it is just your normal club with many strippers trying to make you max out your credit card.

At mons, there is NO DJ. WHICH IS AWESOME. THe lap dances/songs are longer, the women are hotter and younger, and more energetic and fun.

And it's cheaper!

Yea, it literally destorys any other club in the country in -

1. Quality of women
2. Price
3. Quality of dances.

For what bars to go to, I don't know. But Mons Venus is the only strip club you should go to, I'm an expert on strip clubs.
