Florida will always be here. Sometimes getting income/savings from a job trumps moving elsewhere, especially during these rough economic times. This cold weather just makes the decision tougher, I'm sure.

Down here - this a.m. is a little chilly, but nothing worth mentioning/complaining about.

Hope to see you post here in 2014 -

Good luck, Sunshine, we will be happy to have you here when you are ready!

What a nice, warm reception....thank you!

I was thinking after I posted about my current job situation...it can change in a blink of an eye. I've seen it. My boss's boss, an awesome guy, just left for an opportunity he couldn't pass up. Who fills his shoes could make less than favorable changes or if my boss - probably the best manager I've ever had - leaves or gets promoted - my life could drastically change. If either of those make life less than pleasant, I'd rethink how much this job means to me. Then again, things could change for the better where there'd be an opportunity to telecommute or something I don't even foresee. So, as I said, one day at a time, because a lot can happen in one of those "one" days.

Gypsychic, very good thought - there might be a vacation in the near future at least to satisfy me for a little while. I recently reconnected with a former colleague and friend who lives in St. Pete of all places. I'll have to see if she has a nice big couch.
