I wonder how to see the difference between all these ants...fire ants are pretty obvious and you will know even if you don't see them after they sting...

OMG. I hate crazy ants! They are so hard to get rid of! I've had issues with these pests at the previous property I managed.

My pest control guy was here today so I asked about the crazy ants. He said they are battling the crazy ants at one of the local schools. He does perimeter spraying around the building once a week and said they are is talk of doing some extensive spraying of the school grounds during the winter break when the kids aren't around.

The best way to tell if they are crazy ants or fire ants is to pick up a handful.

Just compare how boths kinds of ants act and walk. Fire ants move at a much slower pace while crazy ants are much faster and seem to walk in random directions.
