By the way, there were some legal issues regarding environmental permit for that mall. It's interesting to learned how it was handled.

"A court rejected the Sierra Club’s claims in 2011 that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers improperly examined the project’s impacts to wetlands and waterways. However, it did move forward with concerns on how the project would impact the eastern indigo snake, a threatened species that moved across the land.

Kenneth Dodd, a herpetologist for the Office of Endangered Species, called the site an important “wildlife corridor,” and that having its habitat “fragmented” could cause more of the snakes to die on area roads."

"But a legal battle has raged since the Corps granted the mall permit in 2007. The Sierra Club sued the Corps, and in February 2008, the Corps suspended the permit after muddy water began spilling into a nearby creek that feeds the Hillsborough River, a source of Tampa's drinking water. Work stopped for 18 months, and the developers ultimately paid about $297,000 in fines for violating the federal Clean Water Act.

Developers were encouraged in November when a federal appeals court overturned most of Lamberth's ruling. However, the appellate court ordered the Army Corps to consider concerns surrounding the eastern indigo snake, a species deemed threatened by disappearing habitat since the late 1970s."

I know at least 3 projects what had to be relocated due to indigo snakes. There were no way to clear the permit for us back than.

I am also wondering how they did wildlife survey and how accurate is that. All I can tell - if the right people don't want this mall to be their, they will find the way to stop it indefinitely.

With an attitude like that, it's no wonder that Realtors are held in such low regard.

Well show me proof of global warning and I may change my mind...but all I have seen is scientist who came out that their statements were due to the big dollars they were paid to say what was asked from them.

My opinion is mine alone and doesn't reflects other peoples opinion but all through history we have seen climate changes!

I also don't like all professionals in every profession so we can agree on that. Btw what is your profession?

Seems like you want yours, then stop others from getting theirs.

Why do you NEED 5 Mcdonalds within a 10 mile radius? Answer that, then maybe you can answer those questions yourself.
