I saw that story last night on TampaBay.com. It's also gone national and is on my homepage.

What happened to those two dogs is so sad. First, they're left homeless and abandoned. Thankfully some good soul was at least giving them food and water. Next they're attacked by killer bees and one dies and the other one will hopefully live.

I have no idea how accurate the comment section was in one of the stories, but it appears that the killer bees were actually created by humans crossbreeding European bees and another kind. (Can't remember the second.)

Ironic how the same can be said about pitbulls. We create monsters and then demonize them.

One of the things that I found confusing was the fact that the bees will attack if there is any loud noise, including the sound of a lawnmower. Wouldn't anyone have been mowing the lawn since the bees moved in?

I like to see mountains from my window. I wouldn't want to live on one. Leave my screen name alone. I already had to change my last one because of immature comments made about it.

Tell you what, I'll keep a pit bull as a pet, you keep 100 Africanized Bees in your house. See if you wanna trade.
I would never let either of those animals live in my house.

I'm not sure who told you boogie man stories about Pits, but as long as you don't raise them to be terrors, they are some of the kindest / sweetest animals I've ever met.

African Honeybees were cross bred with the European Honeybee in an effort to create a species of honeybee that worked harder and reproduced faster. The goal? More honey faster.
They look the same. There is no notable difference between the two. They come from different climates and behave differently from each other. Mankind screws up again.
