Now that 2 family members have retail employment we will work.
Because we are employed we are thankful. Turkey dinner will be held on alternate day.

Thanks very much. It has been a lot of work but also enjoyable making this happen. It is my wife's dream come true.

Prior to closing on our house we went out for thanksgiving as well. I will never forget waiting, for close to an hour to sit down with the family, looking forward to a nice turkey dinner. While placing our order with the server he explained that they just ran OUT OF TURKEY, and it would be close to another hour before more would be ready. The owner supplied us with free adult beverages as a "so-sorry". That had to be our worse thanksgiving ever.

I forgot this part. I'm thankful because my wife and I are at a point where this is the best time of our lives. We've had a lot of turmoil in our lives over the past several years. Because we care about family, we thought that helping out some family members who needed it was the right thing to do. Whoever came up with the saying that no good deed goes unpunished sure as hell knows what they are talking about.

I have seven days off from work because both Thanksgiving and Black Friday are company holidays and I'll have the following weekend off. I decided to use a couple vacation days to make a week of it.
