Thanks for the good words. We are in a challenged area, but we are a safe gated family community. Please check us out if you are looking for a great affordable family neighborhood.

I figure I will need to get my start there at first in a mobile home. Then move up later.

thanks

The sales guy you talked to was Bob,he is the manager,if its so safe why did he move out of the park over 4 months ago? They have alot of rentals in there, including homes that they are renting out, several homes have alot of people renting rooms in there, there's several sex offenders living across the street, they fired the maintenance supervisor for trying to enforce the rules, they don't have any maintenance people living on site,so when the gates fail, you have to wait a long time for someone to come open them, which happened this weekend,so now the gates were open all weekend(so much for a gated community)they don't have a certified pool operator any more,so good luck with the pool being safe to swim in.

Keep looking. Village of Tampa is in a downward spiral. Failing security gates, thugs jumping the fences, attempted break-ins, stolen air conditioners, speeders in the park do not even begin to accurately portray current conditions. Management seems complacent to correct the problems and they have gotten steadily worse in recent months. There is no resident manager, no resident maintenance supervisor to assist after hours. Security gates are broken more frequently than they are working. This year rent was increased by $23 a month, they did not care that many are on fixed incomes with no increase in their checks or that many are underemployed or unemployed. I would look elsewhere, at any price offered, these homes are not worth the price.

Do not move to the village of tampa. this is a bad place. lots of trouble in here. we see drug deals going down, motorcycles speeding thru the park and lots of loud music from that skippers place. the park buys up broken down old trailers and puts them in here then makes them look ok and sells them cheap but they are still old and broken down under the fresh paint. they sold one that the roof is about to leak everywhere and it looks like it won't be long. there are lots of kids running around after dark and people wander around all the time.
