Where can you find the most (or many) BUNGALOWS in the Tampa Bay area?

From what little I know, it seems that parts of St. Petersburg? I also read that Seminole (Heights?) used to have many, but many were torn down? Something like that?

Curious to know more about them, or others.

If by bungalow you mean upscale mini-mansions in the craftsman style, there's a large inventory in Hyde Park, Tampa, FL.

If by bungalow you are referring to smaller craftsman style housing 2/1's to 3/2's, generally, then Seminole, Riverside & Tampa Heights have a tremendous inventory. If some were torn down as infill, from what I've seen, it hardly made a dent.

I would have bought in Seminole--I think those houses are so cute--but I wanted more property for a garden, so now I just drive through when I want to enjoy them.

St. Pete probably has more bungalows than Tampa. Old Northeast and Kenwood especially.

I noticed the OP is from Hong Kong, so they may mean "bungalow" in the British sense, which is a 1-story detatched house. In which case, there are many bungalows around the Tampa area, especially in the suburbs. They are actually more common than 2-story houses.

Quite a few bungalows (or ranches or cottages) here in Mirabay, about 20 miles south of Tampa on Tampa Bay. We live in Bay Breeze which is comprised of many "bungalows" that are called cottages. We love ours.

I live in Hong Kong, but I'm am American.

There does seem to be some confusion on this thread regarding bungalows. I just know that St. Petersburg has them...so curious if other areas have them too. I think I've got a few good locations posted above too though! Thanks for that.

Just for clarification purposes....bungalows:

Exactly, beyond Kenwood and Old Northeast check out neighborhoods like Allendale/Five Points, Crescent Heights, Woodlawn, Euclid/St Paul and Round Lake/Historic Uptown.

Our house in MiraBay is definitely a "bungalow":

St. Pete and Tampa both have a lot. I believe Tampa has a lot more, much larger inner city area, which is usually where you find these.

Tampa is larger but beyond Seminole Heights, Hyde Park and a sprinkling of some in other neighborhoods there really aren't any other areas where bungalows in the traditional sense exist.
