Also for the person who was replying about the weather, an example next Friday in Tampa is gonna be 79 and here it will only be 55 with rain. It has been in the teens and 20s here, and when its that cold you dont want to do anything but stay under your covers and have the fireplace on.

Yep My sister who lives in Northern Maine just called. They cant leave their houses because they are afraid that the furnace could go out and the pipes and everything else would freeze. Driving is next to impossible because of the snow. Then they expect a warm spell with rain during the day and then a big drop in temperatures that night so the next day it will be a giant ice skating rink. Not to mention those with out power are having problems keeping warm. Furnaces that use forced air are not running fans so there is no heat. They arent expecting any relief for a while.

I hear from my NYC friends and they are all freezing with no place to go due to the snow. Theyve gone out and did their shopping for food and that is all. They are busy cleaning house and doing other inside chores and have to dress themselves in warm clothes just to stay inside. They are concerned on how much oil they will be burning this winter and the associated high costs of that.

So it goes.

Thats the story I get from my sister. But currently they do have electricity while one of my nephews near Portland, MA dont. He cant do anything to prevent freezing of the pipes and since he has forced air heat there is no heat being circulated around the house, not to mention the cabin fever component.

Spring is coming.
