"S-T-F-U oldtimer " with a toss of the popcorn doesn't warrant lethal force - being humiliated or butthurt doesn't warrant lethal force. I haven't been called on jury duty since moving here 4 yrs ago - I'm due. And they're going to not want me on this oldtimers' jury.

I read that the widow will sue Cobbs movie theater per a statement from her attorney but I wonder how liable the movie theater can be held for since last time I was at the movie theater there were 4-5 warnings to turn cell phones off.
Since the main issue of the verbal fight was about a phone and txting I wonder if the movie theater can be held liable for the escalation of an issue that clearly was not permitted by the victim.
Of course a gun is not allowed but I believe there are signs up for that too...
I think if someone needs to be sued than it is the shooter and not the theater but in this country people always sue each other so I guess the most money is to be found at Cobbs..

I have been to that theatre and there is a No Guns sign on the doors at the entrance. Though I am sure the attorneys will find a way around it.

May be asking airport style screening at the gate? I don't think we are far from that installed everywhere......as ridiculous as it sound that may be in the cards thanks to the knuckleheads.
