So I am driving down to the Tampa area this weekend to look at some places to live, as well as get a feel for the area and driving distances. I will have kids with me, so I am looking to see what is there to do this weekend, and what can't we miss while we are there. the weather is going to be perfect and I keep seeing info on The Strawberry Festival.

Thanks for any ideas

I hope enjoy your visit, the weather looks awesome and the Strawberry Festival sounds like a blast.

If you are in the area I would cruise SR54 from Trinity through Land O' Lakes into Wesley Chapel. There are many newer developments with lots of families see, see if any of them work for you.

Why don't you tell us a little more about what style of home/neighborhood you are looking for? Land O Lakes/Wesley Chapel is kind of the cookie-cutter urban sprawl type of area, although it is not a bad place to live, if you are looking for a slow-paced area that isn't "In the middle of everything" but isn't desolate either. So, tell us a little more about what your style of living area is.

Well we are a young couple, hubby owns commercial cleaning company and have 3 kids ages 17, 10, 6, We need good schools being they are coming from Charter School environment, they are also mixed(blk and wht) so we need to find an area and schools that they wont have racial issues or bullying. We like a mixture of lots of things around us, easy access to main roads but dont wanna be in the city, we would like to be close distance to city and beach. We have been looking at Riverview areas, South Tampa, and New Tampa/Wesley Chapel. We are football fanatics so we need good peewee team.
We like to have a good time and have date nights, love food!!!!!

Does this help any??

Thanks for all your help and ideas
