I would usually add my sentiments about the advantages of south Tampa living here, but then I was reminded of Forest Hills by the response above. I think that Forest Hills is a gem that many have yet to discover....it's centrally located and surrounds a golf course and is only 5 minutes from I-275 (and perhaps 15 minutes to UCH). There are a few newer, upscale homes mixed in with older, modest homes and the neighborhood is generally tidy. There are many smaller lakes and ponds too. The area I'm refering to is bordered on the east by North Boulevard, on the south by Linebaugh Ave., and on the north by Fowler Ave. Immediately adjacent to the western border is the original Carrollwood neighborhood.

Might be worth a look!
