I posted that since I live in Florida, for once I'd love to be cheated out of summer, lol.

I can understand, though. I lived in the Northeast. A cool, wet summer could really be a drag after a long winter.
I would love summer if we just had a southeast flow and i got some rain every week instead of being stuck in a reverse flow and going weeks without any real rain.

Exactly! It really depends on what you are used to. I have lived in places that got down to -30 degrees at night and stayed in the single digits during the day, and I have lived in places that stayed in the 100's actual temp with deep humidity for what seemed like forever. So living here where the summers are only 90 degrees +/- 2 degrees is actually a comfortable compromise.

Now make no mistake, I still enjoy a change of pace during the late fall to early spring, minus a handful of cold days.

I understand that humid heat (as opposed to dry heat) is very beneficial for people who experience arthritis and joint pain. On the other hand, I've heard that heat aggravates neurological symptoms like MS and Parkinson's.

We're in Ohio and having a surreal summer. It's actually been cold. After the long winter I wish it would be warmer. Alas we are moving to tampa next month and I'm psyched. I figure unless you work outside you can always go inside to ac if it's too hot, but when it's 20 degrees outside for weeks on end cabin fever is no fun.

Neither rare nor old. Yes, I am sure a motorized device to follow along as we rotate would be very useful.

Ya, that Ohio weather really stinks. You will most likely love the weather here, just like we do.
