Tee-hee! I just HAD to do it. I know it's a little early, but it looks like it's getting to be that time again. Besides, I miss the back and forth between CHAS and Prius.

I noticed all the pop-up showers inland today that were reported on the weather. but not a drop here. And uh-oh, looks like we may be getting sloppy seconds from the storms that drowned Pensacola. OTOH, seems like after that, MAYBE a little drier weather.

We actually have TWO seasons: summer, and sprall (or sprautumn), a combination of the milder, warmer stages of spring and autumn.

Like to see a repeat of May 1979 when we had 17" of rain in the Tampa area. This time lets spread that 17" out, instead of all at once lets get around 4" per week.

I was going to post in the other thread and noticed it was locked. You two weather nuts need to get along - I have a feeling your constant bashing each other over dew points has irritated some.

BTW, the panhandle got deluged from that nasty weather front - causing the Gov to declare a state of emergency....meanwhile we got nothing. Not really complaining, because that was some awful weather up there. I might reconsider cancelling my flood insurance this year----didn't think I need it.

I'll give the Florida weather forecast from now till November;;
Hot and humid and mostly sunny with a chance of afternoon and evening showers and the ubiquitous reverse west windflow...

I get this is a subjective thing, you have some people that like their thermostat at 85 I personally dont like above 72, to me "chilly weather" is below 50f I dont think we have seen that consistently since January. I know what you are thinking, "why do live in Florida" because for the most part I dont care about the weather, I dont check the weather,rather the weather ranks super low in why I live where I live.
