You can check progressive insurance website and you will see that they do allow international license.

Also the car is off the road and is parked here always but I do believe that she or someone else is driving car when I'm not here. I can not stay home always to watch the car
Any car parked on the road or in a driveway has to have a valid ins. sticker and valid insurance, otherwise it needs to be in a garage or storage place....no exceptions!

If you take the keys than she will not able to drive or have anyone else drive.

I guess you want to keep paying for a visa while you can get a green card through your wife. Sorry but that is hard to believe since everybody likes to get a green card and to avoid paying and dealing with visa's.

What Country are you from if I may ask...

I'd pull the sparks plug or remove the battery or something to keep the car from running - no excuse for not stopping someone from driving a car. Disable the car.

Or vice versa.

I'm sure insurance does not cover driving under a suspended license.

You nailed it. there are ways to avoid people to drive and protect them against themselves and most important protect them against others if they cause an accident. On top of that the OP can loose everything if she drives and hit someone and has no insurance, but that is the least to worry about it more about the other party they can hit and injure.

1. Agree.

2. I agree but I would call my agent and get whatever he or she says in writing. Then I would show it to my wife. She is taking one heck of a chance and is putting the guy at risk.

3. Apparently, his wife is likely the one who is the boss.

If she brings a mechanic or someone who know cars then they will tell her what's wrong and it wont take much long for her to understand who did this as its only me who has another key of the car

It's obvious that you plan to do nothing about the situation and are easily intimidated by your wife.

I hope everything works out, but, given the situation, it is likely that she will do something dangerous and will cause you a problem that you'd rather avoid.

Marriage is a partnership in which both partners act responsibly towards each other and in the best interest of the partnership. If a partner fails to abide by this simple rule, it may be time to dissolve this partnership.
