I made the huge mistake of leaving Florida in May to come to Washington because of employment reasons. I want to return back to Tampa as soon as possible and want to find out about extended stay hotels in the area. Any information you all could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

There are also some condos for extended stay rentals in the New Tampa area that I am aware of. What side of town are you looking into?

If you want a bit of a communal feel, as opposed to the glossy chain hotel, I recomend Gram's Place, a little B&B and youth hostel with private rooms in central Tampa.

I am not sure exactly what part of Tampa to relocate to. I have had so many people tell me not to come back to Florida because of the job situation, which is the reason I left in the first place. I have arthritis and it is getting worse here in Washington. I just dont know what to do now.

You should come back for a visit. I think it is a good suggestion to stay at Gram's B&B. Centrally located and you would get some personal attention from them, more like living in a home rather than a hotel.
You can check out the job market and the area to see if it is what you remember.
