Depends who you talk to... the haters will say "worse" and the ones who are living there happily will say the opposite!

Some posters have lost money during the housing crash and of course they are not too happy.

For a fact I know that Pasco County has bought up homes in some streets that were considered not so good and the County renovated these homes and sold them without any benefit and streets like that turned around.

Drove through Holiday a couple of weeks ago, and wow, the blight. The area looks depressed, deplorable, and completely run down. Check out the east side of US-19 between Phoenix and Flora. I'm not sure what that used to be, but at present it looks like it was hit by mortars in Fallujah.

Not to mention the people that live there...
