Need info on traffic south of Tampa. Thanks! (Sarasota, Bradenton: live in, versus)

I’ve driven between Sun City Center and points south a few times, and the traffic’s moved at the speed limit on I-75 anytime I've done that drive. But I was wondering if this changes with rush hour and with season?

Is stop-and-start traffic (or just traffic well below speed limit) common (other than when accidents happen) during rush hour and season from Sun City Center through points south--that is, on I-75 through Sun City Center, Bradenton, Sarasota? (I know there can be a big difference between season and rush hour versus not in many parts of Florida, but that this isn't the case everywhere.)

I have driven from the Skyway Bridge to Apollo Beach/Skyway Bridge to Sarasota and the traffic is always flowing. Rush hour or snow bird season, I've never had a back up before during my 100+ trips to cities south of tampa. I live in Saint Petersburg and frequent to South Hillsborough, Manatee, and Sarasota counties because of work. The only time I've seen really bad traffic is during an extreme accident or when it rains heavily. But mostly, its a fun ride, extremely beautiful once you go over the Skyway I275 south approach.

I've driven to Tampa on US41 from Apollo Beach in "rush hour" and the traffic always moves steadily.

Doesn't get busy on the road until you get to the Outlet Mall at Parrish/Palmetto ----and gets congested between Bradenton and Sarasota. Never have been in stop and go traffic, but there is significant traffic once you get to Bradenton. Never understood how Bradenton/Sarasota has so much traffic to deal with. I understand snowbirds, but what industry is in Bradenton that requires so many workerbees on the road? OP, might ask your question the Bradenton/Sarasota message board - people might have more information.

This^^^. Plus I sent you a DM. Anyway traffic pretty much flows nicely until you get to Sarasota/Bradenton - this area does get clogged, while St. Pete NEVER does - LOL. During season when we are headed north to St. Pete, our lanes are flowing steadily while the people coming into Bradenton/Sarasota are stopped, bumper-to-bumper!
