Hi all:

Any nice communities in the Tampa Bay area with single family houses between $150k - $175k? Seems like there an endless supply of townhomes or short sales, or foreclosures, but lacking in single family homes for sale.

Looking for what everyone else wants: quiet, safe, good schools, well kept houses, etc.

Thanks..

There are neighborhoods in Riverview that fit your description. I live in one of them. Prices have dropped dramatically since the crash and I'm amazed at how affordable some houses are right now. Best wishes.

I'm finding prices going up in my neighborhood - dramatically. Good for current owners; not good for future owners........guess the local economy is improving somewhat. Wonder if Amazon coming to S. Hillsborough has affect the Riverview housing community, price wise.

If you luck into a short sale, foreclosure, or estate sale it's possible to find an affordable house in a good school district.
