Another gorgeous day in Pinellas County.
Hit the beach with some visitors from NYC and then early evening drinks and dinner al fresco.
The temperature gauge said 90s but it didn't feel like that.

We have. As i said many times, back in May of 1995 we saw record temps the first part of May. I remember fishing offshore and coming back on the 6th and that week after it was 98 and high- mid 90's that whole week after.

It's not just hot, it's record-breaking hot in Tampa Bay for the month of April | Tampa Bay Times....and yesterday as well. April didn't seem bad, imo.

30 years from now it will be insane here with the hot weather year round. This is just the start of whats to come world wide and it's gonna happen much faster than anyone could ever dream of.

I spent most of today out and about.A two-hour walk in the morning,18 holes of golf in the afternoon * and dinner al fresco watching the sun go down.
It didn't seem that uncomfortable to me and I saw lots of other people enjoying the weather.
I really do think conditions are what you make of them.
If you stay inside with the AC on 65 then yes it's going to seem uncomfortable when you stick your head outside.
But for the active person with a positive attitude today was perfect weather.
Gotta love Florida.

*Interestingly my group wanted to walk the course. We were a foursome all of senior years but fit and active. We were passed many times by people on golf carts and the number of them making a big deal of how hot it was and how the ten paces from buggy to tee was such a big deal was unreal.
