So you are here visiting us at a time when we are experiencing above normal temps. What do you think of it so far?
I LOVE it. But...if I wasn't at the beach so much or the pool where I'm staying, most days would not be, IMO, comfortable to be outside for any length of time. Having said that, I'm not a big fan of freezing cold temps indoors. My friend who I'm traveling with hates the heat and has the a/c on high with the ceiling fan while I'm shivering. We have the ac on in the car and I've got my window rolled down, lol. What can I say, I prefer fresh air. Long story short, there are ways around dealing with the heat...for the most part

There was a decent storm that passed through Friday night when we were there. It was weird being inside and hearing the thunder happening all around. As we were sitting right behind the Sox pitchers, I could see them looking at each other whenever it thundered and you could tell they were thinking the same thing.

The storm has past us. It was a great one. I have to bring the dog out and I will check the rain total on the way out. Then headed to bed.

Thx again for that generous offer you made the other day Chas. I am still smiling over that. Making me smile is the greatest thing anyone can do for me these days. I sincerely appreciate it.

And thx to all the other great people here, including Annie. The way my life has been shaped over the last year, plus, y'all are very important to me. Thx for being there. I need you.

We were on the edge of the storm; rain here was gentle. Not sure how much rain exactly, maybe a tenth of an inch; there were a few strong gusts just before the storm and it blew over my rain gauge!

.5" here today. Been kinda weird this afternoon. Some clouds were so dark and moving in different directions, I thought there may be a tornado warning issued.
