Hello, we will be moving to Tampa sometime in Feb/Mar. I dont know much about Tampa.

We liked some properties (single family homes) in Feather Sound sub-division.

This is right by the St Pete Airport.

I would appreciate if anybody from this locality can throw some light on the noise pollution due to planes taking off/landing?
TIA

Well, I am sure being near the airport you can hear the lift off/landing...If you don't mind that, you should go ahead and move there, but if you are looking for more peace-you might want to look elsewhere.....

Very few planes jets fly out or into that airport.

I wouldn't even consider this a problem to be concerned with if your planning on moving to FS.

i lived there for 8 years and you really do not hear it. i even lived in a high rise there and you just don't hear it. the other nice thing is because it's so tucked away, you also don't hear sirens, ambulances, traffic. it's very very very quiet.
