Carrollwood is nicer for all the reasons already mentioned. TnC is Trailer park land.

TnC does have some really nice areas too. There are quite a few communities with million dollar homes on the water (troydale, Sweetwater, etc) . Also have half million dollar condos/townhomes (Spinnaker Cove). Bay Crest and Dana Shores are great communities to live as well.

I was looking at the timberland/wood lake area. The school district
(Middle and highschool) are pretty good. Elementary little below average.
But wasn't sure about the crime.

I lived in Danashores for 41 years and really don't count it as part of TNC since it's kinda off to itself. Just on the other side of the golfcoarse and it's another world.

I would choose Carollwood and have moved here 3 years ago, never regretted it. It is nice and quiet, clean and fellow neighbors are all well educated professionals. Close to shopping, outdoor activities, hospitals, etc.

I'd be happy to share my moving experience with you via email if you are interested.

I live in Spinnaker Cove in TnC. It's a different world south of Memorial. Plus, you can't beat the location and it's proximity to the airport, downtown, beaches in Pinellas, etc. Price is right too.

Been here 2 years and I love it!
