I am really sorry that you think that unless someone has some MIT degree that they shouldn't paid for the work they do. So long as people work a job to support themselves and their families, they should be paid in tune with inflation.

Someone that is not skilled in math could be skilled in something else; you are VERY insulting to these people. They WORK, and they should be PAID for their work.

That employer should be put out of business, ohh wait, they will be when the CUSTOMERS cannot AFFORD it's merchandise!

They do get paid. It may be minimum wage or a bit more, but they do get paid. Nobody is forcing anyone to work there. The people who work there have an option to work elsewhere.

ONE MILLION + people work for Wal-Mart in the U.S. and they are the largest employer in the U.S.

Another MILLION + work at foreign Wal-Mart operations.

In this country you get paid based on your value to the Employer. The more value you have means you have skills and ability of value. Thus the more valuable people earn more money.

The only place I know where this 'value' system is not applied is with union jobs. On union jobs
you can be the blankest page in the book and still earn the same as those in your peer group.
That is pretty odd indeed.

However, in the private employer world you need to give to get. The more you can give to the organization the more you can earn.

The skilled worker gets more than the unskilled; the manager gets more than the workman; the great musician gets more than the average musician; the farmer who produces 400 bushels of wheat gets more than the farmer who produces 100. People are paid according to the quality and quantity of their work.

People get paid what the job is worth, not what the people are worth. If you feel that you are worth more money look for the job that pays more. Not really that hard. Don't blame the employer for lack of jobs, Blame the economy.

The problem is some people don't agree with our system government or commerce. Some people believe everybody is equal and should get everything the same as the other guy.
