LOL--10 years ago, the locals were saying that very thing about YOU.

Everybody, everywhere, it seems, wants to move where they want, but "shut the door behind them".

So what's the other main road to take while driving south in New Tampa other than Bruce B Downs to avoid heavy traffic? And when driving south in north Tampa besides Dale Mabry what road would you take to get to south tampa quick? Lets not get into all the free flowing (ha ha) roads of traffic over by westchase either. When just about every major road in Hillsborough is under construction, traffic problems are everywhere. But the Brandon Area, sorry too many roads besides Hwy 60 will get you East-West, if it gets too congested, sorry for those other areas of town with one-way in/out roads.

Brandon is not mostly built out it still has a lot to go and the current roads cannot handle it. .. There is tons of land areas near Faukenburg and Causeway that are currently being heavily developed both residential and Commercially. You must be lost in space.... Bass pro shops and USAA opening soon, Pro Golf just opening off Brandon Blvd and Fauk. There is also tons of new apartment and housing complexes being developed off roads like Progress, Providence Lakes and Gronto in the Brandon area. Roads are already packed just wait for this development to complete.

I beg to differ. The result here are many different towns, with their own distinctive, interesting and fun character. At least in mid to north Pinellas County. And they keep making nice improvements in the road system.

And now the great Mayor Buckhorn is working hard to transform DT Tampa into a wonderful place for urbanites. Just give it some time. I love how he is bringing in lots of private money, including that of Bill Gates.

Seems to me we are working towards the best of both worlds.

I was talking about large home developments, with people moving in. Commercial space by the mall sure has been for a while. There is what looks like an apartment complex but the area around Brandon is where you are seeing large housing developments being built like other parts of the county.

Once again not Brandon. Brandon stops at 301 and causeway.

Isn't urban sprawl a problem in every Sun Belt city or any city without good public transportation, just saying.
