You haven't seen the exam for getting a driving license. I did. They test you on 20mph back of the building small space. That's it. No road test. I know a couple of old people who recently immigrated that are terrified to drive on Dale Mabry. At least these ones know their limitations. Otherwise, they are free to get into the free way....an accident waiting to happen.

Mine is around the same but I have to pay the premium off up front every 6 months in order to get the payment discount that brings it down to that level. Same coverages and all.

Had State Farm up north, now on Progressive.

Ours about doubled from AZ to FL. Clean record, no tickets or accidents in over 10 years. I got a lot of quotes and all were practically the same.

Really? I took an on-road test.

Just out of curiosity what was the quoted rate and what Mazda models are you driving?

I'm in CT, wife and I are both in our late 30's, clean driving records. Driving a 2010 Toyota Camry and my monthly insurance through Geico is under $70 (I got quotes from other companies here that were more than double that, so it pays to shop around)

We're relocating to Tampa sometime this year so just wondering what to expect.

we are moving to st pete this summer (cant wait!) from nyc, so out of curiosity i got a quote from geico (my current ins. co. at $225/mo) just by changing the address, no tix, no accidents, 52yo, same full coverage and it was a little over $100 less for 6mo. Of course this is coming from ny where everything is $$$$. this is for a '13 escape, and an '11 mustang gt convertible (which btw i am so excited that i will be able to drive yr round instead of storing it for the winter)

Everyone is talking about per month. Don't pay per month. You get a big discount paying six months at a time.

Allot of people can't afford 6 months up front.
