Please let me know if you can recommend an apartment that allows 4 pets. Carrollwood or North Tampa area is preferred. Thank you!

It will be very difficult/unlikely to find one. My wife and I were down for a week and visited 10 complexes, most would not allow our 3 dogs. Most said it is a law that you cannot have more than 2. I am not sure if it is actually a law or just widely adopted policy (someone else may know better). One apartment building would allow them since they allow 2 pets up to 70 lbs each and my 3 dogs together are just about 140 lbs. However, the non-refundable pet deposits and fees were ridiculous. You are better off renting a townhouse of SFH from a private owner, that is the route we went.

I am relocating, and it is just temporary until I can find a house. They are all older pets and very well behaved.

I agree. A TH or a single family home from a private owner is going to be easier to rent.

I used a realtor but you can start by searching on realtor.com or craigslist.

To each their own. I lived in an apartment for a year with 2 dogs and it was fine. When looking at moving down I didn't want to jump right into buying a house right away so I looked at all of the rental options...both short and long term.
