Hello,

Can anyone please share names of good apartment complexes in Hyde Park? I'm thinking to spend around $1000/mo for a 1br. I've looked on Zillow and other websites and it's overwhelming. I'd rather hear from others personal experiences. Thanks!

You won't find many apartment complexes in Hyde Park. There is a new development being built on Platt that could be nice, also Post SoHo square was just built.

They will start at higher than $1000 though. The majority of rentals in that area are from private owners, you may be able to score one around $1000 that way.

Agree with jsun556. Post Hyde Park and Post SoHo Square are starting at $1300 for a one bedroom. I have found my apartments on Craigslist. Most of the privately owned places do not have laundry in unit, so if you want that I'd recommend looking at some of the Camden apartments that are just south of Hyde Park.
