Carver City and Lincoln Gardens both have ALWAYS been black neighborhoods in the City of Tampa. I'd say they are average or a little bit above average neighborhoods, kept up pretty well IMO.

Hello,
I myself am thinking of moving to Tampa and I am very much interested in a working class new communities. I would like to know where you able to find a good community of your liking and is the housing market opn and coming. I am looking to build a house.

Thank you for the information. I looked up the history. It will be hard not to find any City or County not named after old American history that I am not fond of.

That "old American History" provided the name of Tampa, from the Indigenous Calusa Indian Tribe.
You are not fond of native Americans? You sound rather racist.

Did Carver City/Lincoln Gardens get gentrified in the three years after this comment was posted? I just did a real estate search for that neighborhood and it was mostly expensive new construction town homes.
