Today I discovered we have a mega huge dead lake in our area. It is the 4th largest lake in Florida. Lake Apopka are there any lakes in Tampa Bay with similar problems?

What do you mean by "dead lake"? I do know the lakes in the bay area look horrible from the air. Like giant toilet bowls. You don't get much deader than that, I guess.

Lake Apopka has a long history and it certainly is not "dead", although there were problems in the not to distant past.
