That was nice seeing Tampa take two of three from a Red Sox team that has played them well throughout the year. The Rays had no chance at the playoffs and kept fighting through these games. And any time Tampa has lost it is very rare they get blown out of games. They've lost too many close ones. I'd like to see the team settle on a catcher for next year.

I'm not really disappointed with their season. I expected them to be atrocious, (60-102) and the were respectable for most of the season - and lost their ace as well as Matt Moore early - a lot of players came through. Would be nice not to finish in the basement though- props to Kevin Cash.

Maybe the biggest and most pleasant surprises of the season right here.....Ramirez.

Outstanding Rays took 3 out of 4 at Fenway.
