Corporate side is different although I don't think any place is stress free. They do internal audits of the offices. There is also the controllers office where they keep the 'books' for the firm. Internal audit would require travel at least from what I have seen. Try the PwC and Deloitte websites.

I work for a small accounting firm (8 people). We are located in North Tampa on Fletcher Avenue near dale mabry. We are not hiring right now but if you want to email me your resume, I will keep it on hand in case we plan to hire in the future. If you are interested, PM me and I will give you my email address.
On other note, I personally don't know why anybody would want to work for the Big 4. The hours are insane. I don't get the mentality of the Big 4.

I think the reason most folks work for a Big 4 is for the experience and it looks good on the resume.

You can check out Coca Cola and MetLife they both have acct depts. I know PwC just laid off a group of ppl from the National Admin center but most were in the IT dept from what I heard.

Just be sure in the interview you don't show any tattoos or piercings, go to the interview "in time", dress a tasteful suit and shoes, dry your hair at home, don't stare at the HR interviewer and you'll probably get the job. It's hard to find qualified staff in Tampa that follows those simple rules...
