Hello everyone! My family is relocating to the Tampa area in about 6 weeks, and are in search of a good family-friendly community. I will be working in Lakeland, while my husband will be working at MacDill AFB, so we are trying to find something that gives both of us relatively decent commutes. We have a 2 year old daughter, so while she isn't in school yet, we are searching for communities with good schools. We will likely rent at first to get a good feel of exactly where we would like to ultimately live, but when we are ready to buy will have a budget of around $350,000-375,000. What communities/neighborhoods in those communities would you suggest we focus our search? At this point, we were looking at either Plant City or Valrico, but would love a few more ideas since our familiarity with the area is not that great. Thanks in advance for any info you could provide!
