Sims is good. Legit one of the best 3rd down backs but I can see him taking a bigger role.
I thought he had cleared up most of his fumbling issues, but I might be mistaken. Still, Ridley doesn't necessarily need to be the pick. There are other viable power runners that could fit the same mold and would allow the Bucs to use Sims much like the Broncos used Knowshon Moreno in 2013.

I suppose. I just rather see them try to get help in other areas. Just a bit risky for a guy who was injured 50% of his career and at 27 years old.

I can only imagine what Martin will be able to do with a more developed Winston and better players around him. If he can stay healthy, Tampa has a beast for the next couple of seasons.

No, it's not. There are only a handful of running backs earning in that range. Most starters league wide are in the $2-4 million AAV range. The guaranteed money was also a little on the high side.

With that said, I think this was a solid enough move by the Bucs.
