hi, I'm a late thirties single mom to a ten year old 5th grader. considering a move down and I would be working in the Riverview area. I'd like to rent something for 2k or less near the water. what are some good areas with good schools within 30 minutes Riverview?

If you factor in traffic, Riverview is a LONG way from the beaches.

A lot of people don't know that Hillsborough County doesn't have any official beaches they are located in Pinellas County and Manatee so going to them is going to them might take up to 40 minutes.

Look in the Fish Hawk area for good schools and close to Riverview.

Or Lutz or just check the school board websites and see the school ratings but be aware that overall the best school zones have the higher rents and higher home values.

Some areas even have signs up about "A" schools..but that is for new build home areas like in Bradenton East.

Most "A" rated school zones are known by the public and difficult to get into unless you really live in the school zone and on time for registration and hopefully the area won't be rezoned as has happened in the past for some areas.

If you want to live near the water you can actually do that right in or very near Riverview as it's on the bay, but if you want to be near the beach then you would definitely be further than 30 minutes from Riverview because most of the beaches are in Pinellas County. I just checked and it looks like there are some very highly rated schools in Riverview, such as Stowers Elementary, Sessums Elementary, and Collins Elementary. There are also some very highly rated public charter schools in Riverview as well.
