Are parking meters in effect in DTSP on Saturdays??

Most places, parking is free on Sat /Sun, however in DTSP, all of the blocks have different times when the meters are enforced so you will want to verify by physically looking at the days / hours posted on the meter.

All the meters we saw said "7 days a week" but there were many free spaces with 2 hour parking (and some 4 hour parking) so we had no problem.

Yeah, we noticed all the meters on Beach Drive have to be fed 7 days a week, but lots of free spaces on Central and some side streets.

Beach drive meters are 7 days. A lot along central and 1st and 2nd ave are mon-fri. what bugs me is that on 1 block you only need to put money in until 6pm but go to the next block and it's 8pm

Sundays: I park smack downtown near Jannus Landing on weekends and never pay the meter -

Yes, you do have to pay on the weekend in many places... St Pete is pretty strict. I usually stay in the 2hr spaces, but they actually do monitor them and they'll ticket you if you stay too long.
