There is no way we gonna see most evidence. In cases like this one when killer is the killer, his legal team will try everything to get rid of most evidence and ask their favorite question about doubt...

This whole Stand your Ground law IMO makes it kinda easy to eliminate some one you dont like, just provoke them into an argument then when they exhibit threatening behavior you can then shoot em dead claiming you felt threatened.

I was in the politics forum having a discussion with some CCW guys. I learned a few things. (Ignore my post, I was just talking trash).

Apparently you can't just go around looking for conflicts while armed, and then claim your life was in danger AFTER the situation escalates.

Isnt that what this Reeves /Olsen case is all about ?
Wasnt the Zimmerman case about him going around looking for conflicts while armed?

Everybody is fixtated on the texting event and everything that took place BEFORE Olson stood up, turned around and apparently go very verbal and heated with Reeves. That was the point where the situation for Reeves became a time to consider self defense. Lo and behold Olson got physical by throwing his cell phone and then reaching out to Reeves snatching Reeves popcorn and throwing it at him.

Based on Reeves age and health situation he knew well that Olson had the upper hand in any further physical acts of violence, something that a reasonable person would expect to occur due to the apparent rage of Olson.

Olson was enraged after he learned that Reeves had reported the cell phone use to management.

Therefore Reeves was never the aggressor. He asked Olson to stop the cell phone use so that he and his wife could enjoy the experience he paid for, to watch a movie in peace and quiet. Olson apparently decided todisregard the request of Reeves, failed to take his toy elsewhere and be a decent person.

But no. After he learned Reeves had gone to the management he deciced to blow his top, yell and scream, throw an object and then commit the felony of sudden snatching, an action Reeves concluded was to be followed by further physical harm which would have put Reeves in fear of his life or well being.

Put down the emotions about the little girl who lost her dad and the perky little blonde wife who lost a husband and understand that Olson rose, turned towards Reeves and launched a physical and verbal attack which most likely was going to be escalated further by Olson.

I know your are a pro-gun advocate...which is your right...but the "perky little blonde wife" quote is beneath you...she witnessed her husband being shot to death and was injured by the shooter..."perky little blonde" demeans an innocent woman who lost her husband through no fault of her own...you should be ashamed...you can be a pro carry advocate all you want but don't minimize a wife's pain...shameful and disgusting...

Agreed. It was a pretty low blow. And a pretty stupid statement regardless.

Spring Hillian isn't being disrespectful. What spring is trying to do is to get everyone to stop focusing on visual cues and emotions and focus on the facts and physical event. Something the jury will also be expected to do.

Visual cues can distort rational thinking in things like this.
