New chain restaurant coming to town, little different then what's all here now. Anyone familiar with their food? Something tells me their hotdogs will cost a little more then Costco..

Where's Maniac at? Brandon is Tampa! On a serious note, they are very good. Ate there a few times in Chicago.

Why would I care that a story says a hot dog chain is coming to Brandon and a hot dog chain is actually coming to Brandon? Or is it because the OP said that it was coming to "town?"

Because they initially said they were coming to Tampa, and you're the city limits guy.

Portillo's has really good food for a chain. I thought they were more known for their Italian Beef, but everything I've had there is really good. The Maxwell Street Polish is excellent. We picked up their catering packages at work quite a bit when I lived in Chicago.

There is also an independent Chicago style hole in the wall on Ulmerton Rd. that has really good food.

Mel's is worth going to. There was one other place in SoHo that was good but they recently went out of business.

Great food best chopped salad around great dogs and Italian beef. Wife and I lived in Joliet had pictures of famous stars who came from Chicago like Vince Vaughn, Jennifer Hudson, Harrison Ford. Cars lined up around the place that how busy they get. Nothing like great Chicago food.
